What is this service?
Use this service to request course access, request a new / remove development shell(s), remove previous years offering, or set up a self registration course.
Note: Faculty can use the Create Development Shell widget in Brightspace to create a new development shell.
A request for multiple shells can be made on one ticket.
This service is NOT for adding faculty teaching live courses, an Academic Chair must send these requests into the PeopleSoft scheduling team:https://servicedesk.nscc.ca/TDClient/1770/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=40001
Note: Users must either own the course they are requesting access to or if you are requesting access to another faculty’s course, you must add their details so they can give their approval.
An AC may provide permission in the following scenarios:
- course owner is no longer employed by NSCC
- request is for a master shell containing content that has been developed for NSCC
An AC cannot provide permission in the following scenarios:
- course owner is on vacation
- course owner is on leave
