What is this service?
Use this service to (1) request a copy of another faculty’s course content to be copied into a development shell OR (2) have content deleted from a shell.
1. Export, Import and copying of content
**Important** Please read the information below
Faculty can export a Brightspace course using the Import/Export/Copy Components tool inside the course. The process packages the course into a downloadable .zip Brightspace Package, which can then be saved and shared with other faculty.
Please follow the instructions in the KB articles:
Permission from the course content owner is required before the content can be imported into another shell by the ETA team.
An AC may provide permission in the following scenarios:
- course owner is no longer employed by NSCC
- request is for a master shell containing content that has been developed for NSCC
An AC cannot provide permission for access in the following scenarios:
- course owner is on vacation
- course owner is on leave
2. Deleting Content
When requesting some or all course content to be deleted, please remember that removing contents via this service will permanently delete this data. This cannot be undone by you, your organization, or D2L (vendor).
