This article describes how to restart the signing process if one of the recipients discovers an error or omission in the document.
Instructions
Sometimes, in the process of filling out an signing a document you discover that a previous recipient has made a mistake in a text field. In these cases you can restart the signing process to the beginning in order that previous recipient can re-enter the correct information. Note that this feature is only available for documents that have more than one recipient. Also note that the only option is to restart the document signing back to the first recipient. This is for security reason so that all recipients are assured a document is not altered after they have signed.
- To restart a document signing, click on the Options menu at the top of the screen. (See arrow #1 in the images below.)
- Select the "Restart agreement" or "Restart agreement workflow" option from the list. (See arrow #2 in the images below.)


- You will get a new dialog window. Type in your message explaining why you are restarting the document and press the Restart button.

Recipients that have already signed will receive an email with your explanation for restarting the document signing. The first recipient will also receive a link to sign the document.
