In order to elevate your account temporarily you need to use "Make Me Admin" which is found in the JAMF "NSCC Self Service" Portal which needs to be temporary requested by submitting a Service Request through Request Elevated Account Privileges and be approved.
How To Elevate My Mac Account Using "Make Me Admin" After A Request Has Been Approved
Once access has been granted you will see the option for "Mac Me Admin" in the "NSCC Self Service" Portal.
"NSCC Self Service" can be found in the Applications folder. From the Desktop, select Go then select Applications.
Once "NSCC Self Service" is open you need to select the "Administration" menu under "Browse" on the left side then you will see "Make Me Admin".
Select "Make Me Admin" and follow the prompt. You will be temporarily granted Elevated access for 30mins. Please keep in mind that if you sleep or shutdown the computer it will still count down the time. Once time has expired administrative rights will be removed and you will be a standard user again.
