What is this?
“Pinning a Course” allows a user to force a selected course to sit at the top of their My Courses widget and at the top of their Search list, to provide convenient access to current, active course(s). Pinning can be applied to multiple courses.
“Unpinning a Course” allows a user to remove the course from the top of their My Courses widget and to the top of the Search list. Unpinning can be applied to multiple courses.
Instructions
There are two options a user can use to pin a course.
First Option:
Click waffle icon to show list of course(s) and then click pin icon beside course title.
NOTE: Solid color pin means the course is pinned already.
To unpin, click the push pin beside course title.
Second Option:
On the My Courses widget, hover over the course image and a three dotted square icon will appear. Click the three dotted icon and select Pin from the list that appears.
To unpin, click the push pin on the course image banner and it will just show the three dots.
NOTE: If a pinned course has Closed (ended), you may need to go to "View All Courses" (on the My Courses widget) before you can see the course and are able to unpin it.
