What is this?
Brightspace Pulse is a mobile app that can help learners stay connected and on track with their courses in Brightspace.
It provides one easy view of course calendars, course content, assignments, evaluations, grades, and announcements. The app can help learners make better decisions about how to handle workload, when to submit assignments, and when to prepare for tests.
Real-time alerts can let learners know when classes are canceled, rooms are moved, or new/updated course content and grades are made available. The schedule view and weekly visualization provides learners with a quick, at-a-glance view of what is due today, this week, and later in the term across all their courses.
Instructions
You can download Brightspace Pulse to your mobile device via Google Play™ or Apple App Store®.
Brightspace Pulse loads your course data by retrieving calendar events from the course Calendar tool. These events might include dates from Content, Checklist, Discussions, Assignments, and Quizzes in Brightspace, if instructors set due dates in these tools.
Logging in to Brightspace Pulse app:
To log into Brightspace from the app, click on Get Started.
Type Nova Scotia Community College in the search field and select it from the list.
Enter your College credentials and then tap Next (MFA will apply to anyone who has it set up on their account).
Once completely logged in, you will see a list of all the courses you have access to (on the Courses tab).
Logging out of the Brightspace Pulse app:
From the navigation bar, tap the nscc icon.
Tap Settings.
Navigate to the bottom of the page and tap Sign Out of All Accounts.
