What is this service?
Guests requiring Internet access at NSCC can connect to guest Wi-Fi using our new self-serve option.
NSCC Staff laptops are unable to connect to the NSCCGuest Wi-Fi network for security reasons.
This guest Wi-Fi service works with most devices such as:
- iOS (Apple iPhone, iPad),
- Android (Samsung etc),
- Blackberry,
- Microsoft Windows,
- MacOS,
- ChromeOS
- Linux.
Note:
This Wi-Fi network is for our short-term guests only.
Speed is limited and access requires a new login code, weekly.
Students and Staff should use the eduroam Wi-Fi network for a more consistent experience.
Instructions to Connect to the NSCCGuest Wi-Fi
Connect to the Wi-Fi network called "NSCCGuest"
A browser on your device will automatically open and show this page below.
Enter a mobile phone number (with area code), then click Continue.
Note: If you have a non-Canadian or non-US mobile phone number, be sure to use this format
when entering the number:
You will receive an SMS text message with a 6 number code.
Enter that code as shown below.
Then click Sign In.
Congratulations! - you are now connected to NSCCGuest Wi-Fi for up to 7 days.
If your access expires, please follow these steps again.
