Turbo Stick Accessories and SIM card

1. When you receive your Turbo Stick you should have the following:

Initial Setup

1. Push the top cover of the Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick to the left, then lift it off.

 

 

 

2. Remove SIM card from holder. You will use the full frame around the the small card. Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down.

 

 

3. Connect the Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick to a computer.

 

 

4. Wait for the Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick to establish a connection to the Bell LTE network.

 

 

 

 

 

Establishing Connection with Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick
 

1. If your logged in user has "admin" rights the needed Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick driver should install automatically and you can open a web browser and go to the webpage "192.168.8.1". If see the Huawei Homepage you can continue to the next section "Log in for the first time".

If your logged in user does "not" have admin rights continue to step 2.

 

2. If the "Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick" did not install the drivers automatically for you please go to "This PC" in your Windows Explorer/Files window. This will be found on the left sidebar. From here double click "MobileWiFi" from the "Devices and drivers" section. 





3. When you double click "MobileWiFi" you will get a prompt for admin rights. Please enter your username and password or have an IT Administrator put these credentials in. 



4. Once you input the needed username and password the drivers will install automaticly in the background. From here continue to the next section "Log in for the first time".



 

Log in for the first time


1. Open a web browser.

 

 

2. Type 192.168.8.1 in the address bar, then press Enter on your keyboard.

 

3. Select one of the menu options (e.g., Settings) to bring up the log in prompt.



4. Enter the username (default is admin) and then select Password.

 

5. Enter the password (default is admin) and then select Log In.

 

6. The first time you log in to the E8372 Turbo Stick, you will be prompted to change your password. You can either skip this and keep the default password or to change it, click Change Now.

 

7. Enter the current password, which is admin.

 

8. Select New password, then enter the password you would like to use.

 

9. Select Confirm password, then re-enter the password you have chosen.

 

10. Select Apply.

 

11. The password has been changed successfully.

 


 

 

Update Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick

If you get a prompt to update the Turbo Stick please follow these steps.

1. If you see the notice to update select "Update"





2.  Select "Check for updates"




3. Select "Update Now"




4. While downloading please do not unplug the Turbo Stick or close the webpage






5. Put in your username & password. This will be the new password from the initial setup.




6. Select "Auto Update" & "Agree" to the download and select "Next".




7. To "Configure WLAN Settings" this will be the name of the Turbo Stick. Either keep the default name or create a new name and select "Next".




8. Once completed you will be at the main screen. From you can start to browse the internet.



 

 

 

 

What do the lights on my Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick indicate?


1. Wi-Fi indicator
• (Steady green) Wi-Fi is turned on.

2. • (Off) Wi-Fi is turned off or fails.

• (Steady green) there are unread messages in your inbox

4. • (Blinking green every two seconds) Message storage is full.

6. 2G/3G/LTE indicator
• (Blinking green twice every 2 seconds) The Huawei E8372 Turbo Stick is powered on.
