Option 1: (complete information)

1. Click on the Search icon on the taskbar, type about in the search box, and click About your PC.

2. The section Windows specifications displays the Edition (1), Version (2), Date Installed (3), OS Build (4) and Experience information (5).

Option 2: (limited information)

1. Press both the Windows  (logo) key plus the r key. 
2. When the dialog box opens, type winver in the Open: field dialog box and click OK.

3. The new dialog box displays the limited version information.
